Melissa will be discussing her career arc and explain how her watercolor practice has emerged in recent years. Her lecture and workshop will help participants to:
Learn how to enter the flow state and create from a pure place outside the restrictions of your rational mind. This will be a workshop in freedom. Freedom to relax and explore your creativity. This is a supportive exploratory workshop for artists and ‘non-artists’ alike. This workshop will help you to discover that everyone is an artist. Join this class if you feel that you have something inside of you yearning to be expressed, or if you just want to play freely like you did when you were a kid. You’ll depart the workshop having discovered a new or long forgotten part of yourself. You’ll also leave with a souvenir of your adventure into unfettered creative expression.
Melissa will also be available for discussion on Saturday June 15th from 2-4pm should you wish to make drive out to New Jersey see the exhibition and spend an afternoon exploring Whittemore’s beautiful gardens.
Melissa’s watercolor exhibition will be up for one month until July 14th, 2019.
